Yesterday we headed to Nusa Penida for a day of diving and Snorkeling. We had 3 dives plannned at 3 different dive sites.
Our group had a handsome Japanese Doctor, a sweet Scot, a determined Japanese family with a 6 year old lil girl (they were sea sick a lot but snorkelled atleast twice) and couple from Germany.
We saw lots of colorful fish, coral and spotted huge graceful Manta Rays. Mr. C’s group even spotted the mola mola (the heaviest known boney fish that is not easily spotted).
The ride to the sites was through choppy waters, luckily we took the anti nausea pill advised by our divemaster. We had awesome divemasters from Blue Season Bali who kept us in high spirits. Edwin-our head divemaster was such a fun person to go to sea with, Aswan kept Lil N safe (Lil N, only 10, was too young for Nusa Penida divesites). Aswan never let go of his hand through all the 3 dives, Oggy, kept me comfortable and excited through the 3 snorkelling experiences, I don’t like the ocean much… but this was much enjoyable!
